Larry was a great guy. We would meet down by the mail box and talk about politics, the weather, and family. How proud he was of his two sons. How distaught he was when one took ill. On another note, he would never call me by my name it was always "young lady". We were neighbors for a long time. I have lost one of my best friends in the world. Two days before he passed we presented Larry with a certificate from the Daughters of the American Revolution. It read "Appreciation award to Larry Darling, thank you for your service, sacrifice, and commitment to the preservation of our freedom." Peace be with you Larry. No more cookies etc.
