Obituary of Rose Fitzgibbons

Dudley - Rose (Kasik) Fitzgibbons, 81, of 2 Catherine St., died Sunday, March 9 in St.Vincent Hospital in Worcester. She leaves her husband of 57 years, Garrett "Gary" Fitzgibbons. Two daughters: Paula Bombrun of Northborough and Susan Fitzgibbons of New York City. Three sons: Gary Fitzgibbons of Farmington, ME, Brian Fitzgibbons and his wife Jane of Sturbridge, MA, Mark Fitzgibbons of Marshall, Va. Two granddaughters Caroline and Laura Bombrun. Two grandsons Brett and Garrett Fitzgibbons; many nieces and nephews. She was born in Dudley the daughter of the late Adam and Sophia (Harendacek) Kasik and lived here all her life.. She worked several years as a secretary at Shepherd Hill Regional High School retiring in 1980. Mrs. Fitzgibbons was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church. Rose was a devoted wife and mother She loved spending time with her family and her cherished grandchildren. Her funeral will be held at Thursday March 13 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., with a Mass at 10 AM in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley.
