Obituary of Sophie Marsella

Dudley - Sophie Marsella, 92, Monday, June 9,2008 in Lanessa Extended Care, Webster, MA. She leaves her husband of 57 years, Vincent Marsella. Her care giver, Karen Quaiel and several other nieces and nephews. She was born in Fabyan, CT, the daughter of the late Stanislaw and Maryanna (Potoczna) Kokoszka. Sophie grew up in Fabyan and attended Dudley schools. She retired in 1978 from Webster Lens where she was an inspector for many years. Previously she worked at Stevens Linen in Dudley. Mrs. Marsella was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church Sophie enjoyed parish picnics and festivals for more than 50 years. She enjoyed working outside in her yard and garden. She loved her church and flowers . Sophie's family would like to thank the staff at both Lanessa Extended Care and Oakwood Rehabilitation for the kindness and compassionate care they provided . Her Memorial Mass will be held Monday, June 16 at 11 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St., Dudley.
