Webster - Sophie Held, 92, of 50 Upper Gore Rd, died Monday, November 3 in Hubbard Regional Hospital, Webster after an illness.
She leaves one daughter: Marianne Rochat one son: Ulysse Held
two brothers: Ernest Lemann, Daniel Lemann 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her husband Peter and a daughter, Beatrice and her companion Ernest Bruell.
She was born in Langnau Switzerland and came to the United States from Switzerland in 1975. She enjoyed 29 years with her companion Ernest Bruell and his children Kristina, Janina, Peter and Paul Bruell and their extended families .
A Funeral service will be held Monday, Nov.10 at 11 AM in Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours will be held on Monday morning from 10 to 11 AM at the funeral home. www.bartelfuneralhome.com
