Dudley - Monica ( Bonczek ) Drescher, 88 formerly of DiDonato Terrace died January 26 in Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam, CT. after an illness.
Her husband of 55 years, Edward Drescher died in 2001
She leaves one daughter: Barbara Wife of Charles Seney of North Grosvenordale, CT
one sister: Theresa Labby of Dudley and a brother: Vincent Bonczek of Fairhaven Ma
Two grandsons David and Nathan Seney.
She was born in Dudley, the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Poczatek) Bonczek. She was a clerk at the former Kings and Mammoth Mart department stores retiring in 1978.
Mrs. Drescher was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church and Holy Rosary Sodality, Council on aging .
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday Jan. 30 at 10 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church . Burial will follow in St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave. are Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM . Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew Bobola Church 54 West Main St., PO Box 98, Dudley, MA 01571.
