Obituary of Beatrice Foshay

Beatrice "Bea" A. (Stewart) Foshay, of 1239 Thompson Rd., Thompson, CT, died on the 29th of June 2009 at the TCU on the Hubbard Campus in Webster, MA, on the day following her 83rd birthday. She was born in Millbury, MA, daughter of Raymond M. and Anne Mae (Zwicker) Stewart. She was a graduate of Becker College and a member of the first co-ed class to attend Clark University. Bea was married to her soul-mate, Frederick M. Foshay for 56 years and shared a rewarding Air Force career, raising her family with Fred while traveling extensively abroad and in the U.S. before they settled in Thompson, CT for the past four decades. Bea was predeceased by her husband Fred, and leaves behind three sons and one daughter: Bruce Foshay and his wife Pamela, of Bedford, NH; Lee Foshay and his wife Lois, of Dudley, MA; Holly Jo (Foshay) Dalby and her husband Brian, of Thompson, CT; and Todd Foshay and his fiance Diane Lawrence, of Danielson, CT; as well as 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and her beloved poodle "Jake". Calling hours will be at the Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2009. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2009 at 10:00 AM in the Old Howard Cemetery in Sutton, MA.
