Obituary of Rita T. Moran

Dudley - Rita T. ( Lorrain) Moran, 82, Joshua Place, died Sunday, September 6 ,2009 at her sons home in Grey, ME. Her husband of 43 years, Robert J. Moran died in 1993 She leaves three sons: Michael J. Moran and his wife Debbe of Webster, Philip J. Moran and his wife Karen of Virgina Beach, VA and Steven Moran and his wife Maryjane of Grey, ME. One daughter: Roberta Letvinchuk and her husband Pete of Rockland, MA Ten; grandchildren, two great grandchildren, Predeceased by granddaughter, Sarah Capuano. She was born in Lowell, MA the daughter of the late Joseph A. and the late Katherine (Gleason) Lorrain. Raised in Jamaica Plain and lived in Stoneham before coming to Dudley in 1954. She graduated from St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Lowell. She worked as a Registered Nurse for over 25 years at the American Optical Co. in Southbridge. Mrs. Moran was a member of St. Anthony Of Padua Church, member of the Serra Club. She also served on the bereavement committee and the Interfaith Hospitality Network . Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday September 12 at 1:00 pm in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley. Burial will be at a later date in St. Anthony's Cemetery. Calling hours are on Saturday September 12 from 9 AM to Noon at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA.
