Dudley - Lillian E. ( Forand) Kelly, 94, died peacefully Thursday, April 7,2011 in Webster Manor after a brief illness. Her husband of 61 years, Francis B. Kelly died last year.
She leaves one son: James M. Kelly and his wife Ellen of Atlanta GA one daughter: Elizabeth Callahan and her husband Dennis of Dudley. Two Grandsons Kevin J. Kelly and Cory F. Kelly both of Atlanta .
Two brothers: Larry Forand of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Norman Forand of Sutton , NH one sister: Phyllis Katzmar of DE and several nieces and nephews . Predeceased by brothers Alfred and Leonard Forand, and a sister Marie Walsh.
She was born in Putnam the daughter of the late Alfred S. and Lillian (Daigle) Forand. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1935 . Lillian lived most of her life in Dudley .She worked many years at Bates Shoe in Webster and then ten years at American Optical in Southbridge retiring as an Inspector in 1978. Mrs. Kelly was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Lillian's family would like to thank the staff on Unit 1 at Webster Manor for the compassionate care of their mom.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on TUESDAY April 12 at 11AM in Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St., Webster. PLEASE MEET THE FAMILY DIRECTLY AT CHURCH Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Of Jesus Cemetery, Webster. Calling hour is private at Bartel Funral Home & Chapel 33 Schofield Ave. Dudley.
