Angeline Ceppetelli, born on 1/11/1913, died peacefully at 98, on April 30, 2011 at the Golden Living Nursing Home in Gloucester, MA. She lived in Webster all of her life until moving to Rockport and then Gloucester in 2006 to be closer to her family. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur Ceppetelli. She is survived by her two daughters: Gloria Hanson Cohen, and her husband, Dr. Bernard Cohen of Gloucester, MA and Barbara Ceppetelli Scagnelli, and her husband Paul Scagnelli of Fort Lauderdale and Kittery, Maine. In addition, she is survived by her granddaughter, Valerie Hanson Gilman and her husband, Paul Gilman, of Gloucester and her beloved great grandchildren, Casey Gilman, age 23, and Jared Gilman, age 11, both of Gloucester. She is the sister of Carl Rulli, Auburn, MA, and Margaret Ceppetelli, Webster, MA; sister in law, Ester Rulli of North Grosvenordale, CT and Irene Rulli, Auburn, MA and was predeceased by seven siblings, Anne, Lucy, Juliet, Louis, Luke, Warren, and Donato. She is also survived by her three step grandchildren, David Scagnelli and his wife, Nancy, Lynn Sullivan and her husband, Tim, and Karen Horak and her husband, Paul with a total of ten children. She also leaves best friends, Mary Ann White and Doris Canty from Webster and godson, David Nawrocki from Whitman, MA As a young girl, Angeline left school in 7th grade to help her parents raise her 9 siblings and 7 step siblings, who moved in with her family after becoming orphans. At age 14 she began her career at factories including Steven's Linen Mill, Sandler-ette Shoe Company, Waterhouse Factory, and finally, settled at Cranston Print Works in Webster, where she enjoyed working until her retirement at age 72. Angeline was an active member of St. Louis Parish where she baked and volunteered her services for many years. She enjoyed music as a child and often reminisced how each family member played an instrument as they all sang songs in their house. She was an exceptional cook making authentic Italian dishes consisting of homemade pasta and meatballs. A talented seamstress, Angeline made her daughter's clothing during their school years, her granddaughter's wedding gown, and numerous prom gowns and Halloween costumes. She relished her regular visits by her great grandchildren, Casey and Jared, educating them on the importance of family, work ethic, and Italian traditions. In her 80's, she traveled to Roccemorice, Italy with her daughters to visit the birthplace of her parents, Anna Dalimonte Rulli and Jesse Rulli. At 97, she was able to attend the annual Rulli/Kunkel family summer reunion held at Webster Lake. Most recently, she enjoyed arts/crafts and live entertainment at both Day by Day Adult Care and Seacoast Nursing Home in Gloucester. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Louis Parish, 15 Lake Street, Webster MA 01570, the Gloucester Education Foundation, 33 Commercial Street, Gloucester, MA 01930 or Day by Day Adult Care, 3 Blackburn Center, Gloucester, MA 01930. Calling hours are Thursday, May 5, 2011. 5-8:00 p.m. at the Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Avenue, Dudley, Her services will begin at Bartel Funeral Home at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. inSt. Louis Church, 15 Lake Street Webster and burial at Calvary Cemetery.
