I was shocked to hear of John's passing. I knew him, his brother Ed and his parents, Stasia and Tony, for many years through candlepin bowling. He was always a tough competitor on the lanes and a nice guy off of them. My condolences go out to his wife Sandy, your two daughters, Tara and Stasia and the rest of the family. I will always remember his spirit and warm smile. You will be missed. May peace be with you my friend. Mark Gregory

My sincere condolences to the family at this time of loss. Though I did not know John personally, I do know that he and my father, Dick Trotta, worked at Atlas and were both Teamsters members. If my memory serves me well, I seem to recall my father speaking about sharing a few laughs and funny times with John. God's blessings to all as you move through this difficult time.

I'm so sorry to everyone involved with the loss of this truly special man..John & I were very close friends during our years in the sport of candlepin bowling and we were just as close off the lanes as well. The entire Czernicki family have been a staple and a name never that will never be forgotten to many new englanders because of their accomplishments thru many years of competition as candlepin bowlers and the many other functions they were all involved in.John loved his family very much and he always treated everyone with great respect,he was a very good man with a big heart.John,I'm going to miss you dearly and I'll never forget all the great times we shared together.I always loved to watch you bowl, but mostly loved being your friend.Your a champion and I love you,God bless you Johnny boy.My life and the lives of so many will not be the same without you but we are all better people for knowing you as you touched all of us because of the special person you are...i love you John,,,RIP my friend
