Obituary of Virginia Martin

Dudley - Virginia Martin, 74 of Joshua Place Apts., died September 13 in The Meadows Of Leicester. She is predeceased by her husband Normand Martin in 2001 and her first husband Bernard Penkala in 1980. She leaves two daughters Christine Patrowicz of Melvin Village, NH, Karen Martin and her husband Steven of Lakeland, FL. Stepson, Ronald Martin and his wife Georgette of Woodstock, CT step-daughter, Carol Konkel and her husband Robert of North Grosvenordale, CT. Grandchildren Shawn Tessier,Tara Brissette and Steve Martin. Step grandchildren Robert Konkle,Katrina Carlson,Ryan Martin and Tyler Martin. Ten great-grandchildren She was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Benjamin F. and Mabel F. (Isacson) Miller. She was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church. She worked many years at the B&W Footwear in Webster before retiring. She was an avid card player and participated in local pitch leagues. A funeral will be held Friday Sept.15 from Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel 33 Schofield Ave.with a Mass at 11:30AM in St. Anthony Of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley.
