Richard "Dick" Raymond Thibodeau, age 75, of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, December 26, 2016 at West Florida Hospital after a brief battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years Karen L(Ellis) Thibodeau; Four children Paula (Thibodeau) Ingel of Spencer
Debra (Thibodeau) Domantas and her husband Vincent of Holden - Bryan Thibodeau of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA Daughter Ashley (Thibodeau) DiPasquale of Yorktown, VA
Six grandchildren Johnathan Domantas, Troy Ingel, Sydney Ingel Kristina Domantas

He was born in Fitchburg, the son of the late Anthony R and the late Anita C (Bourgeois) Thibodeau. Dick lived many years in Fitchburg and Dudley. He attended Fitchburg High School and earned an Associate's Degree from Worcester Jr. College. He also served in the Marine Corps from 08/14/1959 to 08/13/1963.
He retired from Paul Revere Insurance in Worcester as a Computer Software Programmer and also retired from BMC Software. In 2009 they moved to Pensacola, FL.
Dick was a member of St. Joseph's Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps of Fitchburg growing up. He enjoyed travelling and camping with his family, off-roading in his Jeep, tinkering with home projects, playing cards with his wife, and making everyone chuckle at his jokes. He was truly loved by everyone he met.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10 AM Monday, January 2 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Rd., Dudley, Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery Webster.
Calling hours will be Saturday, December 31 from 4 to 7 PM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, www.bartelfuneralhome.com
