Edward A Mrzyglod of Webster MA died peacefully Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in University Hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Mrzyglod was born on December 7, 1920, son of the late Karol and Eva (Magnon) Mrzyglod. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Szynal). He was the brother of the late Bernard Mrzyglod, Ted Mrzyglod, Joseph Mrzyglod and Stasia Kuzava and grandfather to the late Michael Mrzyglod.
Ed was a machinist with various companies in Worcester County culminating his career with 17 years with R&A machine.
He was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Parish.
An avid fisherman and sports enthusiast, Ed could often be found at Fenway cheering on the Sox or at the Garden rooting for the Celtics and Bruins.
He leaves behind his son John and wife Patricia of Heathsville VA, granddaughter Michelle and her husband Joel Morgan of Denver NC, great grandson Garrett Morgan and wife Hollie of Denver CO and great grandson Ryan Morgan of Denver NC
A memorial Mass will be held 10:00 am on Saturday , January 26 at St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St., Services at the columbarium to follow
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis TN 38105-9959. There are no calling hours.
