Obituary of Eugene Jastrzebski

Dudley - Eugene "Geno" Jastrzebski, 68, of 100 Dudley-Oxford Rd., died Tuesday, April 17 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center -University Campus, Worcester after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Dolores (Maynard) Jastrzebski. Four children Donna Allard of Southbridge, MA, Lori Kondek of Dudley, MA Daniel Jastrzebski of Thompson, CT, and Brian Jastrzebski of Danielson, CT. 4 grandchildren Amanda,Ashley,Tyler and Deanna. A sister Elaine Jastrzebski and brother: David Jastrzebski He was born in Webster, the son of the late Thaddeus and the late Dora (Pepin) Jastrzebski. He lived many years in Oxford coming to Dudley 46 years ago. He worked as a Plant Engineer for Shorts Fiber Optics in Southbridge retiring in 2000. Geno had a passion with Radio Controlled Planes and Archery he was a member of the American Model Association , Rocky Hill Flying Club and Auburn Sportsman's Club . A Ham operator since 1950 with the call sign K1GIS. Gene was a true electrical wizard with an interest in guitars and music. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family .
