Betty told me how hard you all worked to make Tate's last days as comfortable as possible, and I so admire you for that. What a splendid gift you gave him.
I particularly loved the pictures of Mary and Tate's wedding. Tate looked not just happy, but so pleased.
With my sympathy and love to you all.

My deepest sympathy to you Kathi, Colleen and Karen. You dad was an inspiration to many and loved by all. I remember so many times on Aldea Ave eating dinner with your family and spending lots of time there (with some really bad singing in the basement) when we were growing up. I always remember "his chair" and making sure no one was in it when he came home from work. Not sure why that sticks with me but it does. Remember all the good times, there were many. Your family was always one to be envious of. Carry on the good ways and the lessons learned. All 3 of you are spectacular human beings due to your mom and dad. With love always, Sherie Bombardier

It's been a long time since I have seen him, but I remember the many times he was a great help in guiding me in growing up. I knew Tate as a member of the Nipmuc Ski Club back in the late 50's and 60's and on. Tate was the announcer at all of our ski shows keeping the crowd involved in our shows and very entertained. He took me golfing for the first time in my life cause he was desperate for a partner. He taught me how to use the hand mache when I couldn't hit the ball over a steep bank. I thought I had done a great job when I hit a 87 in my first time on the course with par at 71. I was crushed when he told me that was for 18 holes and we had only played 9. I decided then I would be better off at water skiing tournaments than golfing.
So sorry to see him gone. I am so sorry for your loss. Ernie Benoit

Tate was a great inspiration to me and a mentor in my first days of sobriety. A true friend who was selfless and caring. I have many memories of sharing with Tate that will last a lifetime. God speed sir.
