Webster - Janet E. Malser, 90 died peacefully Saturday, June 30 in Hubbard Regional Hospital after a brief illness. She leaves many close friends and family at the First Congregational Church of Dudley.
Her brother Leonard Malser died in 1996.
She was born in Dudley the daughter of the late John F. and Florence P. (Ferris) Malser.
She graduated from Bartlett High School , Miss. Malser was the office Manager at Waterhouse Company and later at the H.C. Bartlett Insurance Agency retiring in 1982. Member of the First Congregational Church Conant Memorial , L.B.S and chairperson of Memorial Gift Fund at the church. Janet donated her services as church organist for the past 30 years. Janet played at the church 275th Celebration last week
with no plans to retire.
She served her community for many years as Secretary of Webster-Dudley Business Bureau, secretary of Webster Arts Council, Treasurer of Webster-Dudley Garden Club, Treasurer of Webster -Dudley Food Share , Member of Webster -Dudley Historical Society , Black Tavern Dudley Historical Society. Member and auditor of Killdeer Island Club.
All are invited to her Memorial service on Friday, July 6 at 11 AM in the First Congregational Church Of Dudley, 135 Center Rd., Dudley. Burial of her ashes will follow in Corbin Cemetery .In lieu of flowers donations to the Memorial Gift Fund at the First Congregational Church of Dudley 135 Center Rd.
