Obituary of Carol L. Jensen

Carol Lewis Jensen, 81, died on August 13 with her loving husband of 58 years, Howard Theodore (Ted) Jensen, Jr., by her side. In addition to her husband, she leaves 3 children; Karen Jensen (Joel Hurliman), Ann Heath (Steven) and Sern Christian (Chris) Jensen, and 4 grandchildren; Harley Heath, Ian Heath, Nicolas Jensen and Quentin Jensen. She is also survived by her siblings in PA; Sandra Hespell (Jim), David Lewis (Linda), and Linda Hart. She was predeceased by her parents, Carl and Edith (Quade) Lewis of Lansdale, PA. Carol was born and grew up in Lansdale, PA, graduating from North Penn High School. She earned an RN from Presbyterian Nursing School (now University of PA), in 1962. She worked professionally before her children were born, returning to the profession again when they were in school, maintaining her license until 2019. She took great pride in her profession and family. She also had many interests including music, and was a member of the Greater Auburn Community Chorus for many years. She loved traveling and watching Red Sox games with Ted, her garden, crafting and antiquing, and was a voracious reader. Most of all, she was grateful for the love and support of her family and friends throughout her life. A Memorial service to celebrate Carol's life will be held at Bartel Funeral Home, 33 Schofield Ave. in Dudley on Tuesday, August 23 from 10 -11:30 AM followed by a graveside service at Mt.
