Obituary of Patricia A Whittredge

Patricia Ann (Grieco) Whittredge of Dudley, MA formally of Swampscott, MA passed away peacefully on November 16th at Harrington Memorial Hospital with family by her side. Pat was the daughter of the late Anthony and Helen Grieco. Pat is survived by her son Bruce Whittredge, Jr his wife Jill Whittredge and her two grandchildren, Timothy, and Taylor Whittredge of Webster. Along with her loving daughter Kellie Whittredge of Webster. Pat also leaves behind 3 sisters. Margaret Hines of Salem, MA. Elaine Llewellyn and her husband John of Port Richey Florida and Mary Koon of New Port Richey, Florida. Several close cousins, nieces and nephews. Pat will be missed by her lifelong friend for over 70 years, Marcia Knowles of Beverly MA. Pat was predeceased in death by her sister Denise Batchelder, who died in 1993. Pat was a graduate of Swamscott High School and Essex Agricultural and Technical Institute for Nursing in Danvers MA. Pat worked as a dedicated and caring nurse for 40 years, 30 of them being at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge MA where she retired in 2003. She loved knitting, reading scary books and watching her grandchildren grow up Pat was loved and known by many. She always had a positive attitude no matter what curve balls life threw at her. Her wit and humor were always present, they served her well while bringing a smile to all around her. She will certainly be missed. Per Pat's wishes, there will be no calling hours.
