Obituary of Goldie Wetteland

Goldie (Clark) Wetteland, age 70, of Dudley died peacefully with her loving family at her side Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at her home in Dudley. Goldie was born November 22, 1952 in Gary, WV. She is the daughter of the late Charles Albert and the late Lucille Anna (Bolen) Clark. She was married to Judson Wetteland her devoted husband of 42 years. She leaves three children: Douglas Remillard and his wife Patricia of North Lawrence Ohio, Scott Remillard of MA, and Grandson, Keith Remillard and his wife Julie of Dudley, MA. She leaves behind one sister: Linda Clark of Worcester, MA and one brother: Albert Wayne and his wife Doreen Clark of Carver, MA. Goldie also leaves 10 additional grandchildren Devyn Fitch and her husband Dustin, Troy Remillard and his wife Crystal , Randi Remillard, Zack Remillard ,Morgan Remilard ,Bernard Deloge, Katrina Lavin and her husband John, Jordan Remillard and his fiancee' Ashley Salgado, Alisha Remillard and Kelsey Remillard. Goldie also leaves a large extended family of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Remillard, and great grandson, Julian Albanese. She was employed by TJX in Worcester with the corporate security division for the company. Goldie enjoyed trips back to West Virginia with her husband, children, and grandchildren. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with her family. She loved nothing more than watching her great grandchildren's sports games, going to their school shows or just laying around and watching movies with them. She always instilled the importance of family in every aspect of her life. The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 4 at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA. A prayer service will be held at 4:00 pm at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley, MA. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 4 from 1 to 4 PM at the funeral home.
