David E. Evans, age 91 of Dudley died Friday, March 24, 2023 at Overlook Masonic Home of
Charlton, MA. David was born on March 28, 1931 in Foxborough, MA. He is the son of the late
Frederick Dewey and the late Lotta (Stearns) Evans. He has lived in Dudley for many years.
He leaves his wife of 71 years, Lois (Whynot) Evans of Dudley, daughter Roxanne Evans-
Greathead and husband Fred Greathead of New Hampshire and son Ronald Evans of
Connecticut. He is predeceased by a brother Warren Evans and a son Russell Evans. He also
leaves many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He served in the Army during the Korean war from 07/22/1952 to 07/09/1954. He was
employed by the American Optical Company in Framingham as a machinist.
Lois and family are thankful for the care given to David during his extended stay at Overlook.
After cremation, services are private. Bartel Funeral Home and Chapel 33 Schofield Ave,
