Steven Thomas Nadeau passed away peacefully on June 16, 2023, at the age of 67 in Webster, MA. Steve was born on March 29, 1956, in Worcester, MA, to his parents Dorothy and Thomas Nadeau.
Steve was a proud graduate of Millbury High School. He was a lifelong resident of Millbury, MA, and a well-known member of the community. Steve had a passion for fishing, camping, and playing horseshoes. However, his true love was playing bass guitar in local bands. From the 70's through the 2000's, Steve was a member of several bands, ranging from rock to country. He was most notably a member of the country band Cactus, which had a loyal following. Steve's bands performed with acts such as The Bellamy Brothers, The Charlie Daniels Band, Marty Stewart, Lonestar, and George Jones. Steve passed on his love for music to his children and grandchildren.
Steve is survived by his children, Alicyn Chagnon (Nathan), Brooke Cook (Jay), Shane Nadeau, and Cassandra Fournier (Chris). He was a loving grandfather to Devon, Hannah, and Isabella. Steve is also survived by his sisters, Chris Ficcardi and Denise Kenny.
Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine (Puls), and his parents, Dorothy and Thomas Nadeau.
There will be no public services held; instead, his family asks you to honor Steve by listening to some great music.
