DUDLEY-Virginia A Cote 81, beloved Wife, Mother, Grand mother and great grand mother, passed away peacefully November 28th, at her childhood home following a period of declining health. Virginia was born in Southbridge Ma. to the late Howard and Gladys Mellen ( Dahn). Virginia attended Dudley and Webster schools. She is preceded in death by her late husband Donald C. Cote whom she met and married on November 28th, 1959. She passed the morning of their 64th anniversary and is now celebrating in the arms of her husband in heaven .Virginia was a CNA and worked 15 years in Southbridge for Providence House where she was loved by her residents and co workers, she had been known to have a resident over to her home for the holidays rather than to have them celebrate alone. She loved reading her books, especially by Daniel Steel. Crossword puzzles and music, Especially Pavarotti, Bocelli ,and Josh Groban and was a devoted Yankee fan. What she loved most were the family gatherings and reminiscing. Virginia leaves behind a daughter Donna Cote of Dudley, ma, With whom resided, a son Kevin Cote also of Dudley Ma. .and who was her greatest caregiver. She also leaves behind a daughter Laurie Trahan and her husband Robert of N. Grosvenordale, Ct. Grand daughters Emily Trahan and her partner Ian Lagassee of Webster, Ma. Abigail Larkin and her husband Zach.of York, Pa. Great children, twins Kaylee and Sophia Lagassee of Webster, Ma, And Adelynn and Blake Larkin of York PA. all of whom she loved so very much .Her sisters Linda McDonald and her husband Roger of Sturbridge, ma. Shirley Chaukas and her husband Steve of Southbridge Ma. and is preceded in death by her sister Pauline Rizner of Webster Ma, Brothers Richard Mellen and Howard Mellen both of Dudley, ma.
