Evelyn Muriel Prest (1940-2024)
Evelyn Prest, 83, of Killingly CT, died at Backus Hospital on February 29th 2024 after a brief illness.
She was born and grew up in Southwest Harbor, Maine in 1940 to Kelsey and Constance Farley. She loved lobster and quilting, making amazing keepsakes for her friends and family. She and her husband retired and moved to Brooksville Fl in 2005, where they made many new friends.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her adoring husband, William Prest and her brothers Charlie and Sonny, and is survived by her daughter, Kim Griffin and her husband Jeff, and son, Vail Prest and wife Sue, along with her 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Buddy.
