Obituary of Gail A. Cone (DiPietro)

Gail A. (DiPietro) Cone, 75, of Millbury passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Saint Elizabeth’s Medical Center after a brief illness. She is survived by the love of her life and husband of 38 years, Larry K. Cone; a son, Richard Cosenza, Jr. and his wife, Kerry of Charlton; a stepdaughter, Marlena and her husband Steven Purdy of South Carolina, three stepsons, Kevin Cone and his wife, Stacie of Virginia, Joshua Cone of Sturbridge, Jonathan Cone of Sturbridge; a brother, William DiPietro Jr. and his wife Elnor of Florida; two sisters-in-law, Esther DiPietro of Worcester and Susan DiPietro of Auburn, nine grandchildren, 6 greatchildren and many nieces and nephews. Gail was born in Worcester, daughter of the late William and Anna (Adukis) Dipietro.She is also predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Cosenza, and two brothers, David DiPietro and Richard DiPietro. Gail was born and raised in Worcester before moving to Auburn. She retired in South Carolina before moving back to Millbury to be close to her family. Gail’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She truly enjoyed “girls” night, chatting with her family and friends, sitting out with the neighbors, bingo and camping and sunsets at the beach with Larry. Funeral services are being held privately and are under the direction of Bartel Funeral Home 33 Schofield Avenue Dudley, MA.
