Obituary of Linda D Borowski

Linda D. Borowski, age 77,of Dudley died Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center of West Brookfield, MA. after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born on September 23,1946 in Southbridge, MA. She is the daughter of the late Michael G. McLean and the late Pearl (Lamontagne) McLean. She is survived by her beloved husband of over 55 years Stephen M. Borowski. She was the loving mother of three daughters: Kelly and her husband Michael RothKugel of Mill Creek, WA., Stacy and her husband Jeffrey Garrepy of Charlton, MA., and Kristin and her husband Thomas Morley of Quincy, MA. Linda is also survived by 5 adoring grandchildren; Brooke and Haleigh Garrepy and Andrew, Nicholas, and Jacob RothKugel. Linda was predeceased by sisters: Carol McLean, Joan Morgan, and Barbara Morgan. Also, brother Micheal McLean and best friend, Harriette Chamberland. Linda will also be missed by her brother in-law, Lawrence Borowski and many nephews and nieces. Linda was a devoted wife to Stephen. She was also a devoted mother raising three strong girls. She worked at Sandlerette's Shoe Factory and also the former Ames department store. Her true joy was helping to take care of her two granddaughters. Linda treasured time with her family as well as taking trips together, especially to Rockport MA. and Hampton and Misquamicut Beaches. Linda was diagnosed in 2019 with Alzheimer's disease and slowly lost her cherished memories of her loved ones. However, she will be remembered for always putting others first. Her love, care, and concern for others are traits that we all will remember her by. Her family would like to thank the staff of Lanessa Extended Care of Webster, MA, the staff of Quaboag Rehabilitation Skilled Care Center of West Brookfield. MA. and the staff at Compassus Hospice Care of Auburn, MA for all the wonderful, loving care of Linda over the last four years. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, June 12 at St. Anthony Of Padua Church, 24 Dudley Hill Road, Dudley. Burial will follow in Waldron Cemetery, Dudley .
